I doodled her at work on my lunch break, and she was a decent doodle, so when I came home, she got inked and colored. I only used references when looking up the right colors for her dress...so not bad for a Belle from memory. (just goes to show you how much I drew her as when I was young!) Belle is one of my fav Disney princesses, next to Jasmine. ^^
Wow. This is so lovely! So many people do digital art now a days, I forgot what a nice texture traditional media can add to a piece! I love your choice of colors too! Excellent "doodle".

Yeah, traditional medias can get quickly forgotten in a world of digital... I like to bounce back and forth between working in both. I love the world of digital and the Undo button, but there is something about working WITH the media (getting it all over your hands, the scent, the texture, figuring out which color you want, because if you don't really want it, you can't change it, you have to work with it (especially in the case of marker)) that's awesome.
For those who have many watchers, and for those who dont have many, it is hard to know how one retains that interest as well as receive more. This article explores the basics of watchers and how we react to certain situations. Although it does not affect some deviants, and the tips are generally related to common sense, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority learn something from reading this.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
