Artist's Comments

I doodled her at work on my lunch break, and she was a decent doodle, so when I came home, she got inked and colored. I only used references when looking up the right colors for her dress...so not bad for a Belle from memory. (just goes to show you how much I drew her as when I was young!) Belle is one of my fav Disney princesses, next to Jasmine. ^^

Enjoy!

Wow. This is so lovely! So many people do digital art now a days, I forgot what a nice texture traditional media can add to a piece! I love your choice of colors too! Excellent "doodle". :)

Yeah, traditional medias can get quickly forgotten in a world of digital... I like to bounce back and forth between working in both. I love the world of digital and the Undo button, but there is something about working WITH the media (getting it all over your hands, the scent, the texture, figuring out which color you want, because if you don't really want it, you can't change it, you have to work with it (especially in the case of marker)) that's awesome.

Haha... what an art geek I am. ^^

Gorgeous work, I love her green dress and you so rarely get to see it anywhere. Kudos to you :)
